Please press the windows key + R to open a run window.Right click on the folder named ‘CacheStorage’ and delete it.%LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE\QtWebEngine\Default\Service Worker\ Copy and paste the following into the run window and press enter. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the eve launcher and that did nothing to help so wondering if there is another workaround or alternative I can use that would allow me to play eve again (with lower settings if necessary). You could easiliy run 3-4 I think at modest settings on previous gen video cards. Im running a R9 390, an nvidea 980 would be pretty comparable.

I can’t explain it.Ī recent update to the launcher caused issues for some users where old cache files caused the launcher to automatically close shortly after startup. Eve isnt extremely CPU dependant so your biggest factors would be 500mb of ram per client and a decent video card. Somehow, this high DPI setting survived ALL of that.

I must say, I feel like a ■■■■■■■ wizard right now. Load these with icons on your desktop/folder near where you start-up the EverQuest launcher. Cheetah Diamond APK 1.1.
My bug report went unanswered, but I was able to find a solution by overriding the launcher’s high DPI scaling setting, which I had previous enabled. I’ve not tried this so good luck if you wish to go ahead.I experienced the same thing. You will need to run Eve once to make the folders then you can refresh them each time thereafter. You only need the three folders 'cache', 'overview' and 'settings', copy them to your drive then refresh each folder on each machine after you connect the drive. The only way I could suggest you proceed (and it’s a long shot relying on the drive having the same letter on every machine), is to copy all the settings from one master machine to your external hard disk, then use this copy to update each machine you connect the drive too. The problem with this is it may not appear with the same drive letter on every machine you connect it too and this could cause the disappearing files you have noticed. The old way was simply to add /end /LUA:OFF, to the shortcut that launched Eve and then the client would save all the settings in the same folders that Eve was installed in.īut now the ‘Launcher’ is used this would most likely not work, to further compound your problems you are using a portable or external hard disk. It used to be possible to do what you wish but now CCP use the ‘Launcher’ to start Eve I don’t think it can be done any more.
